Report: JMMC to suggest OPEC+ keep production level

MOSCOW, Jan 24 (PRIME) -- The OPEC+ delegates expect that the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) will recommend the alliance keep the current oil output, Bloomberg reported on Tuesday, citing sources.

The delegates are waiting for clarity on the Chinese demand recovery and effect of sanctions on Russian exports. They believe that global oil demand has started to recover, the newswire reported.

The next JMMC meeting is slated for February 1 and the OPEC+ meeting for June 4, but according to an earlier statement by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, an extraordinary meeting was not ruled out.
